Sauk Trails Resource Conservation and Development Council

"Over 30 years of helping our communities develop & conserve their resources"

About Us

Sauk Trails RC&D Council is located in the southwest corner of Michigan.  The Council is composed of Allegan, Berrien, Cass, and Van Buren counties.  The area contains about 1,610,240 acres or about 2,516 square miles.  Our total population is estimated as of 2006 to be 405,485.  The four counties covered by Sauk Trails RC&D Council have a rural landscape.  The soils vary widely in texture, natural drainage, slope, and other characteristics.  Deeply entrenched drainageways dissect the area, with stream flowing westerly to Lake Michigan.  To learn more, call (269) 657-3388, or email info@sauktrailsrcd.org
